About this image

I remember seeing a post on Instagram by Tom McCrorie (@aztronoob) and his image of the Soul Nebula.  Tom pointed out the little guy in the centre and said it looked like he was running up a hill.  I had previously captured the entire Soul nebula with my old wide field set up last year, but I really wanted to get a close up image of the little dude. I knew the Soul nebula was large, but I didn't realise just how large, until I saw how small the FOV of this nebula was through my Meade.  It was perfect for capturing the little dude though.  Zooming in so close, I think it looks more like he is running out of a erupting volcano!!  It really is amazing what you can capture from your back garden :)
