About this image

Taken from the beach on a static tripod (no drive). I aligned the telescope on Worthing Pier whilst still light and then offset to the comet's azimuth and altitude using the markings on the Manfrotto az-alt head - it worked! Once dark enough the comet was in the FOV.

Cropped image ~ 3.2 x 2.5 degrees.

Excellent image and very clever alignment approach!

I think there is a hint of tail there. It is not very often that we have two comets brighter than mag 6 in our skies.
