About this image

To avoid overexposure, I took 9 frames 5 seconds each for the comet to reveal the core structure. Not sure how relevant such experiment is!

The inner coma of bright comets is always interesting and often burned out in many images. Producing images like this is definitely worth doing. You may want to try a Larson-Sekanina filter to bring out more detail but, be careful, since that can lead to significant artefacts. A recent example of that on this comet is here. On that morning there did appear to be a brighter jet in the inner coma to the west.

Thanks Nick, will try to learn how to use Larson-Sekanina method
