About this image

Not the finest of images but at the time C/2025 A6 was only 5 degrees above the horizon and immersed in Banbury light pollution.

First clear night for a while and it is the day of BAA meeting.  Rushed back from London and managed an image of it (just).

Better than nothing Steve!
That S30 has a wider field than my S50 by looks of it  - so I suspect the S30 is better for comets.
I know these smartscopes might be seen as cheating to some. But I suspect there is no way you would be able to have got your image if faffing around with all the proper kit!

I cant get low enough with my "proper" kit in the observatory to image this object. ZWO to the rescue.

Thanks Adam.

S30 and S50 are astonishingly capable for the price.

My intention was to use a DSLR on my tracking mount as well but given the low altitude they stayed in the car.  My train was late and I had to drive in to country to get even a brief view.
