Orionid meteor in Orion and close to the radiant

About this image

I caught this short Orionid meteor on the peak night of 22 October 2025. It displays a very short trail as it is so close to the radiant point of the shower, between Orion and Gemini. The bright star to the right of the meteor is Betelgeuse.
