About this image

I thought I'd have a go at Owen Brazell's Deep-Sky challenge in this month's Astronomy Now magazine - just to push my Origin smart scope (6in RASA). And pleasingly managed to get the two main brighter arcs once I added my narrowband filter. Modern telescope advances really do seem to be bringing in deep-sky objects that previously would have only been the remit of much larger aperture telescopes.

*(Apologies as I couldn't get a match for Jones 1 in the "Objects in image" field or using any of it's other catalogue numbers)
