About this image

The two prominent fragments of C/2025 K1 are clearly visible here. The faint leading one is consistent with the predicted position of the original nucleus and the brighter trailing one matches the predicted position of fragment C. Compare with the much higher resolution image from Gemini North taken on Dec 6.37.
