About this image

This is a stack of 455 meteors detected overnight using my SW facing camera (UK00DA). Beat my previous record by about 320 meteors.

The camera is part of the GMS (Global Meteor System) and UKMON (UM Meteor Network) meteor monitoring systems, which track and compute accurate trajectories and importantly calculate (with very reasonable accuracy) the locate of any meteorite falls.
