About this image

A two panel mosaic taken with the Dwarf 3. I combined three imaging runs across two nights. I used a non-linear stretch in MaxIm DL to bring out more of the core of the galaxy.

I am not sure whether AE And shows or not.  The Mercedes Gunsight asterism is very obvious.

Perhaps you may like to try another stretch to optimize stellar clarity and enlarge the image to where individual pixels are visible.

If you do find AE And, congratulations you have observed an extragalactic variable star.

Come to that: AF And may be easier, despite being located within a brighter background. Give it a try!
