About this image

I have wanted to try monochrome astrophotography for a while, but I wasn't sure which camera / filter wheel / filters to purchase.  When I first saw the QHY Minicam8, I immediately knew that it was the one! It is perfect :)

IC 405 is my first HA / SII / OIII image with this camera.  I am currently learning how to process mono data in PixInsight, so to create this image, I followed a SHO workflow by Outten Astrophotography on YouTube. Considering I captured these exposures during an almost full moon, I am so impressed with this little camera and cannot wait for the next clear night!
