About this image

Battling against dew and fog, just managed to capture some images. Half-way through imaging session I had to dismantle parts of the equipment and give it a blast with the hair dryer. On re-assembling I didn't have time to properly align the camera and so the subsequent GB frames were slightly rotated from the LR frame positions. Consequently I had to significantly crop the final image. Images treated with Cosmic Clarity Satellite trail removal programme, then the LRGB master images were created with Affinity Photo, with calibration (darks, flats, dark flats) and alignment. Next I performed gradient correction and de-noising with GraXpert of the LRGB master images. Following that stacking and colour image generation with Siril was followed by Colour Calibration and star removal (Sriril / StarNet). Finally I worked on the starless and starmask images with Affinity Photo and recombined them. Final sharpening and noise reduction with Cosmic Clarity.
