About this image

Visually, this appeared as a very bright beam of primarily white light in the southern sky, with just a very soft hint of green colour.

As it was located in my southern sky near Orion, I initially presumed it must have been car headlights from the nearby road.

However, on camera it appeared in an intense green colour - this photo is not enhanced in any way.
