About this image

Imaged through cloud. Seeing was stable.  The crater diameters are Armstrong 2.9 miles, Aldrin 2.1 miles and Collins 1.5 miles. Check out the concentric wrinkle-ridge formation north of Collins. This is Lamont. It marks the location of a mascon. Note also the sharp tonal boundary east (right) of Lamont. Apparently it marks the boundary between older, lighter lava and younger, dark lava.
