About this image

My first time out for over 2 weeks and this just after storm Chandra passed through, though to be fair the east of the UK didn’t suffer too badly, just strong winds and lots of rain. The sky didn’t clear in time for me to get a good look at the GRS, which was exiting right as I opened up. I ran a couple of IR sets with a set of OSC sandwiched between them. With the jetstream overhead conditions were poor and deteriorated quickly, with the early IR set proving to be by far the best. Nevertheless, I processed all the SERs and have shown the 1st de-rotated IR stack alongside the IR-OSC, with the IR once again going some way to rescuing the very poor colour data.
