About this image

I was testing out the Altair Hypercam 585C camera through an Evostar 72ED scope on a Star Adventurer mount. The camera and scope combination gives quite a narrow field of view so the Star Adventurer isn't ideal for this type of work. I had to keep the exposures short to avoid tracking issues. I wanted to see how the camera performed initially, rather than going for a long imaging session, so I didn't take a lot of shots. This image is only a total of 1 min 45 sec integration time. I was very impressed with the result!
