About this image

Its taken a while but I finally got the telescope working again. Todays final touch a 4m length of lead weighted curtain cord!

I'm still cursing the switched mode power supplies that knackered the comms between house and outdoors.

No dark or flat used.

The star images are a bit off at top left, but for a first attempt with a new (to me) scope and using a cheap 'n cheerful Antares focal reducer, I'm reasonably content. May need collimation and its possible the front of the CCD is not quite parallel to the focal plane.

Need to redo the T-Point sky model next time, but a good start... And in good time for Artemis II
