The comet has brightened to magnitude 7.8 on March 27 with only a stub of a tail visible in the evening twilight at an altitude of 3 degrees. March 26 the comet was magnitude 7.9 with a 2' tail at PA 100 degrees in evening twilight at an altitude of 3.1 degrees.
