About this image

This comet has been brightening rapidly and it has a nice ion tail. It is currently a morning object and I managed to get this image from Chelmsford as it cleared my house this morning. The comet was 16 deg up and the Sun was -13 deg down so the sky was quite bright. This comet gets to perihelion on April 20 and it may reach naked eye visibility next month.
