About this image

I speculatively booked a trip to Tenerife for C/2026 A1 (MAPS) but that comet died by getting too close to the Sun. I've only brought a small portable setup (camera, lens and Teeseek nano) since that is all that would fit in hand luggage. Luckily there is an interesting comet in the morning sky and it shows a very long (> 7 deg) tail even though the moon is still interfering. Things should get better over the next few days and this should be a great target from Winchester for anyone who doesn't mind getting up early.
