About this image

Used my Ioptron Minitower Alt Az mount rather than the EQ5 Pro mount just to find out if an alt az can be used to scan the sun with an SHG. Used 64x sidereal to force the scan across the solar disk with the camera running at 588 frames per second, slower speeds were found to be not as smooth.

Single scan image (no stacking). SER recombined in Jsol'ex and mild processing in Astrosurface.
