Description in the caption. Ive never had much luck capturing the jet before, due to less than optimum equipment. But this time I managed it. I needed a single sloan G' filter and took a lot of attention on guiding and careful use of contrast and histogram tweaks to tease out the jet. I was hoping a blue (U') filter would provide more detail but the response curve on the chip was probably against me. There is plenty of online info (and better images) about the jet and the central black hole, but it amazing to think the result of such amazing high energy astrophysical events can be captured with amateur gear.
