About this image

I caved in to the depraved practice of uploading a short observing plan on the Seestar and then plonking the scope on the ground next to the main dome for shelter.

Then going to bed.

Lo and behold I managed to glean some images of this little marvel this morning. This is probably the best, straight off the scope. Later integrations started to get washed by sunrise and obliterated by satellite reflections (surely the scourge of our lives)

I do have all the subs in 4K resolution so will try and process by hand at some point.

The comet was really down in the murk and is chasing Eastwards. Looking on my skymap software I think this will get even harder to see in the coming days. Hopefully another chance when it swings around.
