Shot over the nights of April 6th - 9th, this was a test to see how my EdgeHD 9.25" would perform without the 0.7x reducer, at its native focal length of 2350mm. Guiding was a challenge initially until I rotated the off-axis guider to locate a star, and then it was fine. I chose M51 as a reference target so that I can do a side-by-side comparison with some of my previous attempts.
