About this image

The Coma Cluster of galaxies is found in the constellation Coma Berenices, there are over 1000 galaxies that have been identified in this tiny patch of space! Many of them are shown as small orange fuzzy dots or eclipses in my image.  Captured over 2 nights, 8th and 13th April 2026 and processed in Pixinsight.  NGC 4874 and NGC 4889 are the largest galaxies seen in this cluster.
