About this image

Images captured with SharpCap Pro (dark calibrated); processed with Affinity Photo, Siril, GraXpert and Cosmic Clarity.  NGC4725 is a barred spiral galaxy with a single arm, magnitude 9.2, at a distance of 42 million light years. The fainter galaxy, in the top left of the image, NGC4712, is magnitude 12.8 and is much further away (around 200 million light years). I was pleased with how much detail I could capture in this fainter more distant galaxy.
