About this image

Yeah, I know its one of the prettiest galaxies around and everyone has done it, but for some reason its taken me 30 years to get an image of it I am reasonably happy with. Either the frame was too small or there were too few frames, or the images were trailed or, or, or...

Unusually, I applied DDP processing to this. I had nearly forgotten it existed.

It was another image where I was testing the PEC on my mount. I hope the hardware remembered it after I turned off the system. Looks like its okay and working well enough to do well on Borisovs nebula - where the main nebulae is very faint.
