A 2 panel mosaic of the north western part of the Vela SNR (Gum16). The palette is SHO.

The blue OIII filaments are the SNR.

There are emission nebula along the top half of the image (left to fight):

Gum 24
Gum 22
NGC 2736 Pencil Nebula (OIII) part of Gum 16 SNR

The FOV is 6 deg x 4.5 deg (12 x 9 moon diameters)

The effective focal length is about 186mm.

Panel exposures were RGB stars 90 min (30 x 1 min each) and SHO 320 min (64 x 5min each). Total exposure just under 14 hours.
