Two images of UY Centauri in juxtaposition. The first image was taken on April 14th., 1991 between 00.54UT and 00.59UT using AGFA1000RS 1000ASA film, from Maunatlala in Botswana. UY Centauri is at maximum. The second image reveals the minimum of UY Cen, imaged from the Jebel Al Akhdhar, in the Hajjar Mountains in the Sultanate of Oman on June 13th., 2002, between 18.10UT and 18.14UT on Fuji 400 400ASA film, and using a Vixen equatorial mount.
