Title

PN Pa27 and PN LieSto1 in Cirrus Nebula

About this image

An analysis of the Cirrus Nebula Mosaic revealed that the image also contains two recently discovered planetary nebulae. Pa 27 was discovered in 2013 by Dana Patchick, and LieSto1 in 2023 by B. Liebscher and R. Stoyan; both have been spectroscopically confirmed as planetary nebulae. The image by LieSto1 was processed separately to make the very faint planetary nebula clearly visible.
