NGC6366 + M13

About this image

Two very different globular clusters imaged on the same night using the same telescope and camera - so same scale.

The main difference is that compared to M13, NGC6366 appears fairly sparse and also in a region of sky close to the Milky Way. The other difference is that despite my focusing immediately prior to each image, NGC6366 was much lower in the sky above a warm hill and the star images were decidedly more blobby (a technical optics term).

As it was globular clusters that I was looking at, I applied a little DDP processing, but nothing untoward.
