About this image

AT 2026rdg, or N Aql 2026, is a highly reddened classical nova discovered in Aquila. First officially announced on July 1, 2026. It's now at around mag 9.5

Clouds at my observing site in Morocco prevented observations, so I switched to King's Academy Observatory in Jordan, which I operate remotely. It's good to have options :)

Thanks Jeremy for drawing my attention to this bright nova.
