About this image

Quick image of T CrB followed by a spectrum of the same field. The image at left has AAVSO magnitudes added for some reference stars (with decimal points omitted). The right hand image shows a typical M-type spectrum for T CrB very similar to one of it's near neighbours...so nothing to suggest it's anything special!

Higher resolution spectra taken on 14th July by Cejudo and Leadbeater are in the BAA Spectroscopy database.

Field of view for both panes is 42 x 46 arc minutes with North up. Spectral range ~380 to 900nm.
