About this image

This has undoubtedly proved to be my most challenging Messier list target transiting at barely 2 degrees elevation from my location. Even though I have an excellent observing place a few miles from home that affords a very low horizon, unfortunately there is a distant copse of trees due south that reaches up to about 3 degrees, which means that I was capturing this target between treetops for at best 10-15 minutes duration in a fairly bright summer astronomical twilight.
