LRGB and Ha image taken over 2 nights.

The Tarantula nebula is the largest and brightest star forming region in the local group.

It is thought the LMC was once a barred dwarf spheroidal galaxy (as we still see its blue off-centre bar) which has undergone disruption at some point.
