Title
First clear night after the full moon, when we were able to take a deeper image. On July 23, the comet was still stellar, but on August 3, it shows a very faint 10' coma in green images. A thin tail measuring 130" in PA 121 is clearly visible. The total magnitude is currently still 13m5, but the comet should now brighten rapidly. 169P/NEAT 2026-08.03 20.35 UT LRGB 40min 8" RASA QHY 600 Michael Jäger, Gerald Rhemann Center (RA, Dec): (248.496, 37.191) Center (RA, hms): 16h 33m 59.001s Center (Dec, dms): +37° 11' 27.000" Size: 4.92 x 2.98 deg Radius: 2.875 deg Pixel scale: 8.64 arcsec/pixel "Orientation", may be incorrect, use at your own risk: Up is 356.6 degrees E of N
