Community Eclipse Watch

In preparation for the Partial Solar Eclipse on Wednesday 12th, I thought it would be a wonderful opportunity to involve our local community in Hale Barns, Manchester. I'll be projecting the Sun's image through my 5" Newtonian, which provides a safe way for everyone to observe the eclipse. I also have a limited number of eclipse glasses available, though not enough for a large crowd, so attendees are encouraged to bring their own if possible. And, of course, any BAA members in our area are most welcome to come along and join us!

I won't be too far away as I'll be at a public eclipse event at Jodrell bank.
