Set up in corner of our garden where the Eclipse was anticipated to be visible until maximum . after that trees would block the event!!!

I mounted my Sky watcher Star Adventurer on a heavy Video Tripod which seemed to have a mind of its own when assembling. Then attached the Sigma 600 mirror lens to Sony Camera and covered the front of the lens with a Seymour Solar filter. Finding the Sun took a long time as even using a Orion EZ Finder I kept just missing the Sun. Polar alinement had been attempted by reference to a Magnetic Compass and best guessing latitude on the sky Watchers mount. Just before the eclipse got underway the Sun was Captured and with a little bit of adjustment now and again managed to get a record of the event before the Trees captured the Sun.
