Members of Crayford AS set up a myriad of telescopes and smart telescopes in the grounds of the observatory to watch the solar eclipse. Over 80 Members of the local community turned up to share and enjoy the spectacle. As the time approached telescopes were checked, BAA eclipse glasses were brought to bare and colanders were at the ready and with first contact a cheer went up. This photo shows the crowd not long before the eclipse reached maximum.
