About this image

Early acquisition of Mercury and a short period of excellent seeing allowed me to capture high-quality data, using lower gain and longer exposure than is typically possible. The videos had enough good frames to make individual frame selection unnecessary, so normal processing with PIPP, Autostakkert! and Registax was good enough. The final image shows albedo features that are a good match to the blurred WinJupos map.
