About this image

As part of a large, organised eclipse tour, we had access to the Siguenza Castle parador, including the car park, which offered good views to the west and had been closed to vehicles. Knowing that totality would have a duration of under 99 s, I had prepared a script for EclipseDroid that ran through a series of exposures, beginning 18 s before C2 and ending 18 s after C3. This is one of those exposures. The only processing has been to convert from RAW to 16 bit TIFF in Digital Photo Professional and to crop and convert to JPEG in gimp.
