Here’s an extremely processed stack of 731 video frames of the beginning of the total solar eclipse.

I was trying to pick up the features of the moon illuminated by the full Earth,  you can clearly see Mare Serenitatis and Mare Tranquillitatis and if you squint Mare Crisium.

Mildly please with this.  Particularly as I was on a liner, in a rough sea, very windy, manually tracking, in the Arctic 6 miles from the Greenland coast.

Appreciate that the correct term is Earthshine but I have always preferred Earthlight.  Also a very good novel by Arthur C Clarke.
