Title

Moon Venus and Spica in the Evening Sky

About this image

An iPhone image of the evening sky in SW France. The sky was rather hazy but the crescent Moon is visible with Spica a little above and to the right. Venus is lower down just right of the 5G mast. The red light is the top of a wind turbine- they have lots of these in this part of France. Venus despite being near eastern elongation is becoming increasingly difficult to spot because of the unfavourable ecliptic angle and Venus moving south of the ecliptic.
