Uranus: Image and spectrum

About this image

Just for fun, while I was waiting for Nova Tauri to gain altitude, I took an image and spectrum of Uranus.  With this relatively short focal length only the outer two satellites were seen in the image, Titania (T) and Oberon (O).  The spectrum shows the characteristic methane bands identified with the tick marks.

Uranus is well placed and easy to find between the Hyades and Pleiades in Taurus.

Both panes show the same field of view which is ~28 x 37 arc minutes with north and red up.
