About this image

Another excellent monthly object of interest from Callum. Thanks. This fascinating open cluster rarely gets centre stage and is normally seen as a tiny object, tagged on at the end of Collinder 399, the Coathanger asterism, in amateur images.

I'm really enjoying exploring the sky with a mono camera once more. Having the entire sensor dedicated to each colour resolves the faintest stars and fills the image with detail at the limits of the seeing and telescope resolution.
