About this image

Start of using a smart telescope to follow variations in brightness of this Mira type variable. As it is near the north celestial pole it is hoped to follow it throughout its approximate 11 month period. Comparison with the magnitudes of surrounding stars (AAVSO data) suggest it is currently at approximate magnitude 9.
