An hours worth of imaging of Gyulbudaghian's nebula. If I had known how nicely it would stack I would have captured 2 hours. Nothing clever done and the data has not been exposed to any AI noise reduction or sharpening. It was simply dark subtracted, flatfielded and then stacked using a sigma clip. Nothing exotic.  

Normally, Gyulbudaghian's nebula can be relied on to change subtly nearly continuously, but at the moment its not doing that much. That said. Its got some nice structure which is worth looking at. When the computer first displayed it, its autoscaling function showed detail in the nebula - near PV Cep - which I have seen before, but this time quite clearly. Its shown inset. I have no idea what it means at all, but its a variable nebula, so who knows what will happen. 

One slightly odd feature is that the dim southern counterpart of the main nebula - the dim blob just below PV Cephei - appears to have a dark vertical mark on it. Its not a very high SNR part of the image, so it will be interesting to see if this appears on later images or is a statistical fluke...

PV Cep, which illuminates the nebula, is still hovering in the mid mag 16s, but is showing a slow drift upward in brightness.
