About this image

The Fossil Paw an interestin emission nebula in the Constellation of Perseus.

Some 9800 light years from Earth, i managed to capture just 6 hours from 5 minute exposures using the SHO palette.

The central core is bright due to the proximity of massive stars ionizing gas at its core.
