About this image

The field of Nova Sagittae 2026 taken just before the low resolution spectrum.  The nova was V-mag 12.2 (thanks AAVSO) when the image and spectrum were taken.

Field 90 x 54 arc minutes with north up.

[Can't match the resolution of Alan Thomas's image, but that was with 3.6x the focal length on Tenerife!]
