About this image

The Little Rosette Nebula

Catalogue Sh2-170

Added a few more hours last night.

This is a faint emission nebuls located some 7.500 light years from Earth in the Constellation of Cassiopeia.

It spans over 20 to 44 light years across.

Its Power Source glowing Hydrogen, Oxygen and Sulpur ionized by a central star.

I captured a total of 15 hours on this target combining Ha, Sii and Oiii filters. The stars are from RGB filters to get the true colour.
