About this image

This picture was taken late in an aurora display during the Kelling Heath Star Party in Norfolk. The display began at twilight and ended around 22:00 UT. At the previous Kelling Heath Star Party in spring, we enjoyed an aurora display; how lucky to have two in a row! In the foreground, members of Castle Point Astronomy Club and I can be seen observing through the club's 16-inch dob.
